Skyler did an incredible job on his talk. He had it all prepared but as he began, he folded up his paper and said he felt very strongly to change what he had prepared. Mom was nervous as she would never be able to get up and speak without some sort of written out talk, but she trusted in what he was feeling. It is amazing what a mission teaches these young adults, not just spiritually but how to navigate life, relationships and how to converse with others. Skyler did an INCREDIBLE job allowing the spirit to guide him. We are so grateful he is back and know he made a difference in the lives of a few people living in North Dakota and Jamaica.
After Sacrament Meeting, we invited anyone who wanted to join us for a brunch. Mom ordered Cinnamon rolls and had a yogurt parfait bar and juice to go along with the rolls. We definitely have an amazing support system with family and friends. We are so happy to be back altogether as a family after 4 long years!
