Only 1 month left! President and Sister Odonkur officially completed their mission and Skyler was able to welcome the new Mission President into the field. His prior companion and other assistant went home which meant that left Sklyer (Elder Yates) to train the new assistant and show the new Mission President, President and Sister Britton how things worked in the Kingston, Jamaica Mission. On top of everything else, there was a Category 4 Hurricane headed their way. All missionaries near the coast were assigned to get up to the hills of Jamaica in safer areas. If he thought his mission was busy and stressful before, this topped it all. Skyler mentioned it wasn't as bad as he thought. He felt like we had windy days in Saratoga Springs which we all laughed about. The amount of rain and flooding that occurred was the cause of the most damage which allowed Skyler to find ways of serving people around the hardest hit areas. Luckily everyone was safe and now Skyler can say he survived a hurricane.
