Auri making cookies at young women's. Baking is one of Auri's favorite activities to do in her spare time other than crafting.
Mom and the Mia Maids were in charge of the combined YM/YW's activity. So they put together a manners meal where the wives of the bishopric were behind them pretending to be their hands while they were served a 3 course meal. Let's just say the guys ended up with more food on their laps than in their mouths. The kids loved it and were able to eat their own dinner, after selecting 10 items on a menu that were given different "circus" names rather than the real food name. There was a lot more laughing than eating going on!
Ayisa's good friend Rachel Mason from a few years ago passed away after committing suicide. It was such hard news since we know her family well and her brother is good friends with Skyler. She was a cheerleader at Westlake, had many friends and was a very happy person. You never know what someone is going through behind that smile. We love and miss you Rachel!
John and Jett came into town for a Basketball tournament which fortunately for us was played at Westlake High School. Grandma Woobie joined us as we cheered Jett and his team on. They ended up not only winning the semi-final game but the championship game as well! We celebrated by going to to the Smoked Taco for dinner.
Once a month one of the members of the Bishopric dresses up as a character in the Book of Mormon of their choosing and visits the children in the primary to tell his story. Can you tell who dad was this month? Nephi!!
Dad and Jayden headed to Strawberry for fishing. They caught a few decent sized ones and enjoyed the sunny weather.
