Clarissa Remington invited mom and dad to join her as she opened her mission call. She was called to Chile! We are so excited for her and the many people she will teach.
Chase and Abby were needing someone to watch little Ryatt. Mom didn't have plans that afternoon so she gladly volunteered and knew Aysia would be ecstatic since she would be arriving home to watch him for about an hour herself. She loves babies and wanted to wake him up immediately upon returning home. Mom made her wait a few minutes and he awakened on his own ready to be fed and have his diaper changed.
Sundays are dads long days. He didn't even have the energy to remove his shoes before snoring away on the couch after a long day of meetings.
Mom missed the Tuesday lunches since it was a time to get to know Aysia's friends even just for a few minutes as she didn't want to hover. They all knew the rule though, "Lunch for a photo". No one complains about the pictures. We were lucky to have some great weather to enjoy eating outside.
This was an old photo Grandma Pikus sent us. Kyler was only about 9 months old in this picture which meant mom was about 13. Both Great Grandpa and Uncle Rob have passed and we are so grateful to know and understand about the plan of salvation. Until we meet again...
Skyler was desperately needing a haircut and lucky for him, his dad has had years of experience cutting his own. Not bad!
