Love is in the Air

The night before Rob died, Regina had a good talk with him about reconnecting with her old High School Sweetheart now that she had moved back home from Florida and just gotten out of a bad relationship. Rob gave her full approval. Regina and Jace dated 6 months after Rob's passing and were engaged to be married in September at the cabin. The invitations and everything about the wedding was over the top. It rained for the first hour of the wedding so we all hibernated under the tent drinking specialty drinks and eating horderves.  Once the clouds cleared, a rainbow came out which was incredible. The wedding began and Gege was escorted down by Cade and Regina by Gege and Swen. Grandma Pikus and Yvonne were the flower girls. It was a beautiful ceremony.

Both Jayden and Skyler were invited, but the girls stayed home since it was "adult" only invites. The dinner and the toasts after were perfect. Gege had a seat with Rob's picture on it sitting next to her. It was then dancing and cake cutting before we sent the adorable couple on their way to Costa Rica.

Harley was married to Sam 2 weeks earlier at La Caille Restaurant in Salt Lake. It was a quick wedding and only immediate family was invited (No aunts, uncles or cousins), but we were so happy for Harley and Sam. He really fits into the family well along with Jace. We miss Rob, but the girls know he had in finding their matches.

Gege had a 3D bronze statue replicated of Rob that stands near his grave at the cabin. She added special emblems and quotes on the statue that were Rob's favorites. She was able to use Jared's hands as a model since his were the closest to Rob's that Gege could think of. It was done just in time for the Wedding. It really was amazing to see the finished product. You could feel his presence there at the wedding.
