It had been a few years since mom had taken the kids to hike up to Timpanogos cave. So she decided to reserve tickets for the 24th of July on a day that she knew the kids wouldn't have many activities or work planned. Dad wasn't able to break away from work so the girls invited their friends Kaiya and Whitney. We had one extra ticket for Nicolette who had to work for someone sick at the last minute. It was definitely a hot day so the cool 50 degree cave was welcome and refreshing.
That night, we headed to Sunrise Meadows park to join a few neighbors lighting off fireworks. Dad lit the rest of the Aerials off while Aysia and Whitney started some sparklers that they shared with Auri and her friends. Grandma Pikus was able to head over where we ate some sweet treats and enjoyed another night of fireworks.
