Skyler's friend Aubrey Prestwich received her mission call and because she was one of mom's young woman in our last ward, she invited our family to her farewell. She would be leaving for Texas in a few short weeks after the MTC. Texas will adore her!
Grandma invited us over to support the "Freedom Ride" which in hundreds of bikers and police officers that ride through Utah and Salt Lake Counties to honor the fallen servicemen and officers who have been killed in the line of duty. We had an amazing breakfast and waited for the sound of the bikes rumble. It didn't take long and we definitely could hear them before we could seen them. We clapped, whistled and waved our flags. It was at least 15-20 minutes of constant bikes. What a great way to honor those who have passed serving us and our communities.
