The Hafen's came up North for the 4th of July so we decided to buy a few more tubes and float the Provo River. We grabbed some lunch on the way and luckily found a couple of parking spots on the busy 4th near the river. Grandma Woobie decided not to float the river, but be our photographers. The water is definitely chilly but after a few minutes you get used to it, or you just become numb to it. We all separated into little in groups since it was a bit crowded on the river. Mom hadn't seen Auri for a bit but knew she was back with Jett, Mikelle and John. She had a feeling to wait for her. After a few minutes, Auri came around the corner after the others. Mom floated towards her and grabbed hold of her tube. 1 minute later mom noticed her tube was deflating, after a few more minutes it was completely flat so mom and Auri enjoyed the rest of the tube ride on one tube which mom would never complain to have her baby sit on her lap. It was a beautiful day, perfect for the float. We met G-Woobs at Vivian park for snacks while we waited for Dad and John to grab the other vehicles.
We went our separate ways and headed back home where dad made us his amazing barbeque ribs. Aysia went her separate way with her friends to watch fireworks and the rest of us found a spot near Thanksgiving point to watch a few of the fireworks. It was a great day to celebrate the good old USA!
