Aysia decided to give the drill team another shot with the new coach Lexi. She was a little worried if she didn't like it she would be stuck, so mom told her she could quit if she didn't think it would be a good fit as long as it was by the end of May before they started choreographing the routines for the next year. Once she was beyond that she would need to stick it out. The tryouts were much more relaxed than the first time Aysia tried out since she had only improved over the last 2 years with being on a company team and drill. Unfortunately, there were 3 girls who did not make the team that were on the team the prior year. It was devastating for them and Aysia felt bad for them, however she said the 3 girls weren't taking any outside classes to improve. It's so hard as a parent to see a child go through rejection. Hopefully they are able to come back strong the next year and join the girls once again.
