Mom was so sad when she watched Jayden and Leah say goodbye in California. The plan was to break up that day that Jayden left since she would need to focus on her mission. However, she wouldn't be leaving for another 3 months so mom offered to buy Leah a plane ticket back to Utah for her birthday in August. The break up only lasted 8 hours when Jayden called to tell her the plan. So, with Leah being in town we made the most of it. She and Jayden went for a hike and hung out the first day. The next day they came over where we played pickle ball and went out for smoothies. We were able to take the boat out that evening where Leah was a natural at surfing. We didn't have a lot of time since Jayden had to get back for a soccer game that night. They were able to hang out the next day and Jayden took her to the Cheesecake Factory. It would be the next day when they would say their final goodbyes before she left. They are a darling couple and if it is meant to be we would love Leah to join our family in the future. If not, she has set the bar high and we know whomever Jayden chooses will be amazing!
