It wouldn't feel like Halloween without carving pumpkins. Aysia invited Isaac, Whitney and Mason over to have a pumpkin carving contest. Isaac got a little sick from the smell so Aysia had the honors of scooping out the "guts". After they were all carved, mom, Auri and Dad had the honors to judge them. Aysia and Isaac won with their cute little carved house which won due to the creativity of something different. They carved them a little too soon because they didn't last until Halloween. It has always been a tradition for the family to carve our pumpkins the Sunday or Monday before Halloween so they don't rot before the big night. Ayisa decided to paint hers since she had already carved her pumpkin earlier in the month. We were able to save a few seeds this year to season and bake for a snack.
