We had the opportunity to not only attend the Mount Saratoga Springs open house but also volunteer to be ushers during the 2 months it was open to the public. The girls were able to help pass out and put on booties while mom and dad were able to help in the visitor center as well as usher inside the temple. It was a lot of work for dad being a Bishop since he was responsible for filling many of the positions from our ward members. When a position wasn't filled, he tried to fill in where he could in between working 50 hours a week, family time and home projects. We invited Jayden and Leah to join us for the open house which is a beautiful temple. We then headed to Kneader's for some much needed desserts.
