Mom and Auri arrived home from California Sunday night, just enough time to make sure Auri was all packed and ready to go for the next morning to head to Girl's camp in Heber Valley. Mom was called to be part of the Stake Young Women's Camp Food Committe but couldn't make it up until Tuesday since she had to work Monday due to taking several days off from being out of town. Auri was so excited as this was her first year of camp. It was super rainy most of the time we were there, but at least the food was good and the girls made the most out of the rain. It didn't stop them from having a good time and luckily they brought several indoor activities to enjoy during the heaviest rainstorms. The rain cleared up enough for us to enjoy the skit night where Auri was one of the stars of their short play. She was the "Dating Machine" who had to go through each "boy" to find "Mr. Right". She definitely let her acting skills shine! Ayisa wasn't able to make it until the last day since she had Mandatory Drill practice all week. We were lucky to have dad and the Bishopric join us for the last night. They made us hamburgers, we played volleyball and 9-square and of course enjoyed testimony meeting under the stars. We were lucky that the weather cleared up just in time for the last night. It was a great way to end a great year at camp.
