All of the kids birthdays fall later in the school year, late spring or summer which means driving to school doesn't happen until all of their Junior years. While all of their friends get their licenses throughout the year, they patiently have to wait. Aysia's was no different and she had to wait extra long since her birthday fell on a Saturday and Monday was a holiday (Juneteenth). So the long awaited day came and she is now official and a great driver. She didn't wait much time to get behind the wheel by herself. She dropped mom off at home and was off to see her friends. She was given the family car, a blue Hyundai Sonata which she named "Fin". Mom was relieved to have another driver in the family again!
