Auri was invited to go to Lagoon with the Hafen's and their good friends the Hickman's one Saturday during their Fall break. Auri loves hanging with the cousins and loves Frightmares although the boys were a little nervous to go in any of the haunted houses.
Mom was working one day and was asked to take a patient back to a room for another tech. So during the 5 minute wheelchair ride, mom found out this sweet woman and her husband had a dog they couldn't take care of anymore. She described the dog as part poodle and small which was similar to Coda who we know doesn't have too much time left on this earth. So mom mentioned her mother-in-law may be interested. You could tell her and her husband adore this dog "Lola". So mom reached out to G-Woobs and let them exchange numbers. Fast forward 2 months, Grandma wasn't sure if she could handle a dog with her work schedule and decided against it. She offered to take Lola for a week while they were on vacation... AND she was hooked. G-Woobs officially adopted her and we couldn't be more happy! She is only 3 years old, but already trained and a very good dog that loves to cuddle. And just like that grandma had a new little "Lady-leapin'- Lola". We love her already.
We love that Jayden continues to play soccer so we have something to do with all of our spare time;)
We got to experience a solar eclipse which wasn't total but 80%. Mom bought extra solar glasses that she was able to share with a few of the neighbors. It was incredible how light it still was with only 20% of the suns rays still hitting the earth.
