While Mom and Dad were at the Stake Youth Retreat and Aysia was at her Dance National retreat, Grandma Woobie offered to take Auri over night and have an adventure of their own. She took Auri up to the canyon with Coda to cross country ski and have a picnic lunch. There is never a dull moment when G-Woobs is around!!
Mikelle and John invited Dad to go to a Jazz game and sit in a box seat with them. He will never say no to a Jazz game especially when it is free AND in a box seat. It was a very close game and the Jazz came away with a buzzer beater WIN!!
Mom was called into Young Women's shortly before Dad was called as Bishop and is loving her calling. She has always been drawn to the youth, probably because she is young at heart and usually a bit crazy. One of the activities was to watch the Young Women in our ward perform at their end of the year Color Guard performance. They did a great job. She also was asked to perform in a lip Sync competition and dance which she couldn't pass up.
And so the date nights with Auri continue... Maybe she will burn out from hanging out with her crazy parents but for now we will take what we can get!
It wouldn't feel like St. Patrick's day at our house without packing the kiddos with their annual green lunch!
Auri has found a new hobby in the kitchen... Making homemade ice-cream. Oreo is her favorite.
Mom took Auri and her friend Swayzie to the Ariborne trampoline park which they obviously didn't get enough jump time becuase they came home and took Auri's tumbling mat to the park to continue to work on their tricks
We celebrated G-Woob's birthday at the Smoked Taco restaurant in American Fork. She is definitely worth celebrating!
