Auri tried out for the school play, The Music Man and was hoping for a lead role. She ended up getting the role of Ethel Toffelmier, one four of the Pick-A-Little-Ladies which she was so excited about since she was able to dress in a frilly costume and be in many of the scenes. She originally thought she was a "Pickle Lady". The play was darling and Auri did an incredible job. It was a lot of work and time but worth the effort and the new friends she made.
