SEPTEMBER 2023 - Miscellaneous

Swiss Days 2023! Mom and Grandma try to make it to Swiss Days every Labor Day weekend. The parking is insane so we try to be there before it even opens. It wouldn't be Swiss Days without one of their famous scones:)

Uncle Rob's birthday was only a month after he passed. So Gege asked for those that wanted to join in celebrating his life to meet at the "Bike Shack". We watched a video of memories of him and sang happy birthday to him followed by cake. It's one of many firsts, one down many more to go.

The projects never end at home. They seem to be piling up and with Dad's busy schedule they finally got around to starting the pergola. It took 3 weekends but ended up looking amazing!

Young Women's Activity to the traveling tabernacle

Lunch date and shopping with Auri.  It's no surprise that it included Chick-Fil-A, 5-Below and Ulta!

Now that Auri is in Middle School, she gets to enjoy the assemblies, dances and activities that the older kids get to attend. She invited a few friends over to the house for some Pizza before heading to her first dance where she was excited to be asked to dance for the first time. This will be the first of many to come.

Pumpkin Pancakes for breakfast anyone?

We try to be reverent at church, but sometimes we just can't hold it in. The kids are obviously rubbing off on mom.

Poor Payton was playing on the monkey bars and fell while his mom and dad were at a softball game. Knowing it was obviously broken, they headed to Primary Children's hospital for x-rays. Luckily with him being young, he didn't need surgery but just a splint.
