Jayden's Surf Soccer Team decided to head down to St. George for a tournament over President's Day Weekend. Unfortunately for Jayden he has not had much luck at tournaments with each of his soccer teams and only won very few games. He was hoping for a championship this time since it would be his last tournament before graduating. We always love hanging out with cousins, and since Ace and Linc had baseball tournaments that weekend as well, we were lucky to be able to cheer them on as well. In between games, we were able to hang out, ride bikes, hike and eat great food. Jayden's team won enough games that allowed them to be able to go to the semi-finals. They were down by one point with only 2 minutes left in the game. Jayden kicked the ball from the side into the middle near the goal when a whistle blew from the ref. Apparently there was a foul inside the box giving Jayden's team a PK. They scored, sending them into overtime!! Neither team scored in overtime so it went into penalty shots. Jayden's team won by 1!!! They went onto the finals and won by 1 point! Definitely nail biter games, but Jayden was overjoyed not only winning a few games, but his first tournament Championship as well!
