Jayden and Skyler both completed their Eagle requirements and Eagle Projects years prior to actually receiving it. The church announced that they were no longer going to support the Boy Scouts of America group starting at the beginning of 2020. That was incentive enough for the boys to finish up the loose ends and get them done. Jayden's project was completed in 2017 (taking items to orphanages in Malaysia) and Skyler's project was completed in 2018 (Just before he turned 14, he organized the reading books for Thunderidge Elementary School). It was a long road, but worth it! The boys were frantically getting signatures and tying up loose ends on New Years Eve. Talk about cutting it close. Congrats to both Jayden and Skyler on all their hard work!
