New Career Path - Preschool Teacher!

Noelle and Janson's Preschool teacher suddenly moved and was no longer able to teach Payton and Makai due to a scheduling conflict with the boys Kindergarten class being in the morning. They panicked a bit because all of the pre-schools were full and not allowing any extra kids due to Covid-19. So Grandma Pikus and Mom decided they could both take a day, pick them up from school and have their own little pre-school. As active as the boys are, 2 is much easier than 8 in a pre-school class! It has been fun watching them grow and interact.

We took a field trip to the park to pick up leaves for their first project. They colored and glued their leaves on the tree.

They practice their math skills with skittles. They Seem to learn a lot quicker and have a longer attention span when candy is part of the math equation.

We took another field trip to the store to find specific letters we have learned on items down each isle. They were able to choose a snack and of course a treat because they stayed on task and found all of the required letters.

Word Bingo was a hit. Aunt Amanda would call out a word and the boys would have to find it on their Bingo cards. We love holidays, so for November we made turkeys with feathers, and even made Thanksgiving placemats where we had our own little feast.
