The Hafen's were in town for the 4th of July so we decided to make the most of it. So we headed to the Zoo! We were planning on going to "This is the Place" park as well, but it was under construction and it was an extremely hot day. So we grabbed some Costa Vida Burritos and headed to the park to eat and go on a short hike. The animals were active at the Zoo even though it was a hot day. Auri loved the Elephants of course, especially the baby since they are her favorite animal. The Bear was relaxing with its back leaned against the window and kept looking around at the kids. It was a great way to spend the day.
