For Spring Break we had planned to take a motorhome trip to Goblin Valley with the Pace family, but of course like everything else this spring it was all cancelled. The camp grounds were all closed as well as some of the National Parks. So we came up with plan B. Each day we decided to plan a new activity. The first day we went for a hike near Herriman called Yellow Fork Trail. It was a fairly easy hike, but longer than we anticipated. We got our exercise and were even able to social distance from others on the trail. Since the weather was nice, we planned a hotdog roast at Noelle and Janson's along with Dingle Ball and corn hole.
The last activity we had planned with the Pace family for Spring break was a bike ride to Patriot park from our houses. Auri was sad that she didn't have a bike with gears since she knew it would be difficult to go back up the hills to our house. But luckily Grandma Pikus met us there with lunch and she was able to get a ride back with Grandma and Makai. The rest of us trekked back and were ready for a nice nap... the benefits of a stay-cation - sleeping in your own bed!! The first few days of Spring Break were much needed. We decided for the last half of our vacation we would venture up North and visit the Pikus cousins one last time in Idaho before they moved back to Utah.
