For Skyler's big 16th, we did a little party at home with his favorite Chocolate Bundt cake. Of course, he had to fan out the candles rather than blow them out. Mom knew we should do something with friends since it was a big birthday, but since most things are still closed or limit the amount of people at an event and require advanced reservations, she reached out to Rob and Gege and asked if we could use their pool for his party. They were sweet to say yes, so we planned lunch and a pool party which was a great way to spend a Covid birthday.
