Lake Powell will never get old for the Yates Family! We had 2 trips planned this year, but that wasn't enough for Jayden. When he learned the his friend Bryce was going down as well as the Pace family one weekend, he decided to head down last minute. He spent one night with Bryce's family and another night with the Pace family. Obviously Grandpa Pikus likes Lake Powell for other reasons, a good nap!
We weren't sure if our family's first trip to Lake Powell would happen since we would be going down with Dad's business partner Zach and business was quite busy since they were now making hand sanitizers and had some large orders to fill. Luckily they were able to break away and we were able to enjoy another trip to the amazing LP! It so happened that it was Aysia and Dad's birthday's while we were there. Mom felt bad that they didn't have a cake so her and Jayden took a long one hour ride on the jet ski back to the dock and drove to Walmart to grab a cake. It was a 3 hour trip, but well worth making their birthdays special. We let Aysia bring a friend, Whitney Hawkes, this time since it was her birthday and Skyler couldn't come, sadly due to soccer tryouts.
