Unfortunately Auri didn't get to experience Clear Creek like mom and her siblings. They all got to have the privilege of staying over at least one night, but since Covid they have cancelled all sleep overs at the amazing camp. So we settled for a fun day trip that mom was able to be a parent chaperone with her and her friends. The bus ride up was an adventure in itself. Kids these days definitely have louder voices and screams than they used to. Since it was March, there was still snow up there. The kids all competed in making snow forts and 9-suqare. There was great food and crafting and of course singing and games. Although there was no sleeping over, we felt like we got a full days in that may have felt like two. Mom was happy she was able to join the group and spend some time with some amazing 5th graders.
