Aysia performed in her last Drill performance of the year for parents and families. Her friends talked her into performing her last years solo routine in front of everyone. After a few practices, she nailed it. They decided to have the dad's participate in the Dad's Drill Down competition. The coach calls commands to turn right face, left face, about face or by march. Dad was a good sport and even had a few lessons from Aysia before competing and took 2nd place! She was definitely proud. Auri's team at Ultimate Dance was also selected to show off their Dive into the Pool dance after they received such a high placement at the prior competitions. It was fun to support both girls at the same event.
The Drill Team had their end of the year party at a local event building where they had dinner, speeches, shed tears and gave lots of hugs. As hard as it was to say goodbye to the season, her tryouts for the next year were the following week. It wasn't nearly as stressful as the year before since her coaches knew her, but she still wanted to make sure she earned her spot. She was excited to learn a couple more friends made the team for the upcoming year which would make it that much more fun!
