It's tradition that we all get together, or those who can in the Pikus family, on the Sunday morning conference session and share a breakfast while eating waffles and breakfast casseroles. It was fun that Jared's family is back from Idaho and can share these experiences with us. After conference we headed to the mountains to see the changing colors in the leaves. Mom wanted to get out and take a few pictures of the kids but they all declined and just wanted to make it a drive. So we enjoyed them from inside our car. Then when we got home the girls wanted to put the Haunted Gingerbread House together that mom bought for them. A great weekend to relax and Feel the Spirit. My favorite quote from President Nelson was “In coming days, we will see the greatest manifestations of the Savior's power that the world has ever seen.” It's a pretty exciting time to live and watch as the miracles take place.
