Skyler was ecstatic to play soccer his Senior year and although not at the Varsity level, he soaked up every minute. He was routinely placed as the second half goalie or after they were behind. Skyler was able to keep the other team scoreless every time he was placed as the goalie. Many players wished Skyler was the goalie for the entire game due to the freshman, Ben making a few mistakes and costing the team a few goals, but Skyler knew he needed to mentor Ben. The goal of the JV team is to create better players for the upcoming Varsity teams. Luckily Skyler had quite a few friends on the team and everyone looked up the the Senior. One of the players moms mentioned to mom that her son said what a nice kid Skyler was and that he was the nicest one on the team. Skyler was so fun to watch and really showcased his playing level throughout the season. Rain or shine, he always had many fans cheering him on.
