Noelle and Janson invited Mom, Dad and Skyler to play on their summer league soccer team. We were a little nervous because Dad was out of shape, mom had never really played and Skyler would be gone for a few games due to other plans, but we decided to make the best of it. Skyler was an incredible goalie and we ended up winning every time he played. We were lost without him when he was gone. Mom almost had a couple of own goals and pulled her hamstring one game so she was out for 2 more. She liked playing defense the best. Dad did well, but he too had an injury and on the last game of the year twisted his ankle which took months to heal. Jayden made it home just in time for the last game of the season. He played extremely well and had an incredible header that scored a goal and one other which was passed to him. Skyler was even able to play out field for a bit and score himself. It was actually a close game so having both boys help us out was definitely a bonus.
