Once again, Mom signed up to volunteer for the BYU concession stands for Aysia's Drill team. It went a little smoother this time because we knew what to expect and what needed to be done. Great times!
Mom was called into Young Women's again which she loves. The girls had a back to school photo shoot by one of the leaders pink bus for one of our activities. Then we headed up to Gardner Village for a scavenger hunt at the Witchefest.
It's becoming a routine thing for Auri and Mom to go to dinner and then Fat Cats where we have a ticket competition. We play a few games together then we break up to see who can get the most tickets. Who ever ends up with the most tickets gets all the tickets. Miraculously Auri had won all 3 times we have started our little game (Mom somehow went from the most to the least when the cards "Accidentally" got mixed up, haha)
We look forward to our Mondays when we get to talk to our little Wookie, AKA Elder Yates. We look forward to hearing about his adventures in North Dakota!
Each year Thunder Ridge hosts a run-a-thon for the kids to earn money for the school. They ask for donations for each lap they run. This year mom offered $5 per lap. Auri was amazing and ran 12 laps with her friend Giselle. $60 was worth every penny for her effort.
Auri is always up for a game or movie so this particular night she really wanted to play "Watch-a-mouth". We would try to say a phrase and have the other guess what we were saying. We were laughing so hard we couldn't even understand what we were saying with or without the mouth pieces. Auri realized she is very excited to get some braces on her cute little chompers after looking at the pictures.
This look says it all... She knows she is spoiled and is finally happy and owning her place as the baby of the family.
We decided to get into the Halloween Spirit early. Auri wanted to head up to Lagoon where Frightmares had officially begun, She invited her friend Megan to join us. We were able to hit 2-3 haunted houses and many rides since the crowds usually don't start to come until late September or early October. It was a a perfect night.
Auri loves tumbling and what better place to do it than at Airborne trampoline park with her two good friends and twin sisters Rhyse and Alyx.
Before each of the boys headed out on their missions, Noelle and Janson invited them over for a Wrecked night where they play games and eat great food after they put their kids to bed. They usually carry over into the early morning hours. Memories to last a lifetime!
