2 YEARS!! It was a long, very awaited time but well worth it. We couldn't wait to hug and see our Elder Yates again. Our car ride to the airport was much different than 2 years ago. Several family and friends joined us to welcome him home. There were definitely some happy tears shed and many hugs. We were able to go out to Mi Ranchitos for lunch after and celebrate his return. We only have 3 short weeks before another Elder Yates leaves us so we will make the most of our time.
That evening when we were on our way to the Stake Center for Jayden to be released, the most amazing sunset graced us. It looked as though the mountain was on fire. It was a perfect evening to complete 2 years of serving the Lord. Jayden gave an incredible departing testimony before removing his badge. He didn't feel ready but knew it was time. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. We are so proud of him and what the future holds!
