Aysia's Drill team required each team member to volunteer for 3 concession stands at games over the next 4 months which included family members too. Since you had to be 14 years old to volunteer, Auri was a little bummed that she was not invited, but quickly turned her sulking into smiles when she realized the Hafen cousins were in town and invited her to spend time with them hanging out at a local park with a stream and have a sleep over. Skyler and Aysia were able hang out for the afternoon before they had to head to BYU for the Stadium of Fire with mom and dad. Auri stayed behind to hang with the cousins and the rest of us headed to work the night away in the hot, humid concession stands selling hot dogs, nachos and sodas. Luckily it was Tim McGraw performing so the background music was worth listening to while working. It definitely got us into the patriotic spirit.
