Auri was so excited for her birthday, but definitely concerned that everyone would forget about her since her birthday would fall on the day of the homecoming/farewell. Instead of a party she wanted to go shopping for clothes. At the last minute she was sad she wasn't going to have a party so mom said she could have a few friends over the night before to have some cupcakes and mom would take them to FatCats where they could hang out and play some games. She was ecstatic. Then Aysia wanted to make sure she felt extra special so because Auri wanted to count down until midnight when she officially turned 11, Aysia got her room ready with lights and music. When Auri walked upstairs, Aysia invited her into "Party Central" and they danced their way into Auri's special day. Mom made sure Auri had a birthday crown and sash to let everyone know it was her special day. Auri asked if she could wear the crown to church and of course mom couldn't say no. She had several family, friends and ward-members wish her a happy birthday. After everyone left from the homecoming and farewell we celebrated as a family with buffalo chicken and Cesar salad. It was a great birthday even though she had to share it with her brothers.
