One of the Westlake Drill Teams annual fundraisers is the princess ball they host every February after their season is over. Aysia was assigned Vanellope Von Shweets from Wreck it Ralph. Mom did a little research for the backdrop and was able to make some large lollipops and a balloon arch for photo ops. Tickets are sold and mostly little girls and dads come to have a little date night. The girls all dress up as some sort of super hero or princess and make backdrops for pictures with the kiddos. They have face painting, music for dancing and refreshments for the dates. It is usually a huge success and Aysia fit her character well. The backdrops were incredible and mom did her best to keep up with the incredible drill moms.
