When we bought our house we knew we needed to make a lot of changes including the entire yard. We knew it would be a long summer of hard work. Every open weekend we had we were working outside. We really wanted to have it done when Jayden returned which was a perfect goal and helped us move along quickly. We didn't water the grass last summer so we felt bad for our neighbors having to look at our dead lawn for months but promised we would make it up to them. Dad rented a little tractor to get rid of all of the dead grass and we posted on KSL for free red rock. We ordered pavers and dad made sure to wire the yard for lighting since he loves house lights at night. Skyler was a great help and instead of getting a job, we hired him to help us. We over extended ourselves a little and were hoping to have the backyard complete as well, but ran out of time. We weren't able to get the turf in before Jayden arrived but everything was prepped and ready to go. We were happy with the results. We just need to plant several trees and plants in our planter now. We are looking forward to next year when we can maintain a low maintenance yard.
