STING...Vegas Style

Earlier in the year, Shonnie reached out to mom asking her if she liked the 80's singer Sting and if she would like to go to his concert in Vegas. She of course said yes - she would say yes to nearly any 80's band. Shonnie asked her husband Bart first who asked her "Isn't that what Amanda is for?" Haha! So they flew into Vegas early Friday morning, checked into their hotel room and hit the ground running not wanting to waste any time. They stared at the Luxor where they went to the Titanic Exhibit. They did a great job and it was so sad to see how many lost their lives due to the selfishness of others. They headed back to the hotel room to get ready for the big concert. After eating dinner at Planet Hollywood and then headed to the concert. He did an amazing job especially for being in his 70's. He played Every Breath You Take which is one of mom's favorites.  After the concert they headed out to walk the strip and watch the Bellagio fountain production. It didn't take long for them to want to get off the strip and back to the hotel. It was a great first day.

The next day we grabbed some breakfast and headed out to the pool to get some sun and relax for a while. It didn't last long, it started to get too hot so we called it quits after only and hour and a half. We walked around a few casinos and saw the gardens at the Bellagio. Shonnie had to play $5 for her sister in the slot machines which she lost in 5 minutes. We went to the Michael Jackson production ONE which was an amazing experience of acrobatics and songs. Then we grabbed dinner and of course our 3rd smore's shake from Dairy Queen for the trip. It was a quick get away but just what we needed.
