Just when you think you can take a break and breathe, it just keeps going. The Drill team finished their regular season but always end it with a trip to Nationals which was in Florida this year. A Senior on Aysia's team reached out to her and asked if Aysia could give up her spot in the Lyrical dance so she could dance the routine with it being her Senior year. This particular girl had never performed in the Lyrical dance but it was her favorite and the coach told her if she could find someone to give her their spot she could perform. It definitely wasn't an easy decision but in the end she let her take her spot knowing Aysia would have 3 more years to compete. The girl was so grateful and even the mom told Aysia that she made her daughter's Senior year complete. She was happy to know she had made a difference in the end of her dance career since she would not be dancing in College. They did a great job and ended up with second, third and fourth places. They also enjoyed some Florida sunshine and amusement parks while they were there. A great way to end one dance season only to look forward to the next.
Auri's Company team continued to do well in their team dances. Their Dive into the Pool routine ended up overall high point at one of the competitions and her duo with Swayzie received continuous 1st places. The girls have grown so much over the years and its been amazing to see their hard work paying off.
