For Dad and Mom's 23rd Anniversary, they rented a car and drove to St. George where they went to dinner with Mikelle and John and saw the Count of Monte Cristo play at Tuachan. It is one of their favorite movies. They stayed at the Hafen's and woke up early the next morning to drive to Vegas where they dropped the car off and flew to Denver. The plan was to rent a car and head to the hotel before heading out to dinner and the Dave Matthew's Band concert. But when they arrived to the rental car location they found they weren't the only ones needing a car. The line had about 50 people waiting and only 2 customer care representatives which they figured would take about 2 hours in line. This has been a problem with the pandemic, there are fewer and fewer workers and less and less products. So instead of waiting and wasting time, they decided to Uber the remainder of the trip which actually ended up being the same cost if not a little less. They checked into the hotel, had a quick nap and headed to Frisco's Steak House for their Anniversary Dinner. Dad decided on the 32oz Tomahawk steak. It was incredible, but much too big for both of them to eat. They headed to the concert where Dad was able to find seats within the first few rows. Dave put on an amazing concert and they lucked out with the weather both days. They wore there flashing light-up glasses and danced the night away. After the concert, it was back to the hotel where they stayed and had a late checkout before heading back to the airport early the next afternoon. It was a quick get away, but much needed since they have been so busy with the house they haven't had much time for each other.
