Back to school means SHOP! Auri and I did just that since Aysia already purchased most of her clothes online. We went to the mall to have some mom and daughter time while shopping and grabbing a bite to eat at the food court. Mom was able to help decorate the Drill Team lockers for the new school year. Unfortunately, Aysia is still at the middle school isn't able to enjoy the locker decorations. She has another 3 years to enjoy them if she chooses to stick it out on the Drill Team. Auri is starting 5th grade with Mrs. Bayless (Who was also one of Aysia's favorite teachers), Aysia is starting 9th grade although she wishes she was in High School and Skyler is at the top of the school chain as a Senior. Although he goes to school at Westlake everyday, he is taking all college courses in order to graduate with an Associates' Degree at the same time he graduates High School which means his class times don't coincide with his friends classes. Luckily he has the opportunity to go to Seminary and play soccer after school with his friends as well as stay for an occasional lunch. Not exactly the typical Senior Year, but he is excited to get a head start on his college degree.
