The Hafen family came up to watch one of Linc's baseball tournaments in Lehi. Since it was so close and we had some free time, we met up and enjoyed an evening of cheering for Linc.
Dad, Skyler and Mom all went to the 6A finals soccer game where Dad's business partner, Zack's son played for Weber one of the finalists this year. They won the state championship in overtime with an own goal.
Happy 41st Janson! Noelle invited us over for a little Luau. We played games, roasted hotdogs and of course sang happy birthday.
It was Auri's end of the year tumbling showcase. She did a great job! She learned her back walkover, front walkover and was really close to getting her ariel! Great job Auri! Her friend, Megan asked her to join her and her family to go to her family reunion in Southern Utah for Memorial Day weekend. She had a great time, but was definitely a little tired when she returned.
Auri's music class teacher asked if there were any kids that wanted to showcase a talent. She chose piano and played her song from Wicked, "Popular". Unfortunately parents weren't able to watch in the classroom, but they were able to watch through zoom. She played it perfectly.
Finally! The temples are open to perform ordinances as long as you have an appointment. It is a little difficult to get appointments since everyone has had to wait to get back to the temples. We were able to get an appointment. Aysia invited a couple of friends, Lacee and Ammon Pikus joined us as well as the Pikus's cousins. Skyler was supposed to join us with a friend but unfortunately ended up going the wrong way to the temple and missed the appointment. Hopefully he finds it next month!
Grandma Pikus planned a big birthday party for Grandpa's 77th birthday! She invited all the families over for dinner and a trivia game about Grandpa. He told many life stories that Grandma had to cut short either because it became gory or his memory was not remembering it correctly. It was a great day to celebrate Grandpa!
Auri started to make Fidget "surprise" packs and allow someone to open them. We never kept the prizes but always had fun guessing what was inside.
