The house is coming along. We figure we still have about another 6-8 months before we have it complete where we are happy with the renovation. We love decorating for fall and love having an extra large porch for pumpkins!
Skyler and Mom decided to use our new Kitchen Aide mixer and make some yummy Cinnamon Rolls, with extra frosting of course!
We love our fall soccer days, especially Grandpa. Skyler has really excelled as a goalie although he has been a little frustrated with the team he is on. Mom always tells him he can only worry about himself and his performance, not others. It's all about the attitude which he is always positive with the other players and encouraging them along. He is definitely a team leader.
Each year Thunderridge hosts a fundraiser for the school. The kids run a certain amount of laps where they can earn a certain dollar amount for each lap they run. This year mom had to work so dad was able to go. Mom usually runs with Auri and has run between 15-20 laps each year. Dad was a little tired so he cheered her and her friends on from the sidelines after a few laps. She was able to get 11 laps, but had a great time while running.
Once again, Auri is always creating, writing, coloring or making something. After going to Salem this year, Auri decided to make her own report on the Sanderson Sisters after she watched Hocus Pocus. It was nice to know she actually learned something on our "History" trip back East this summer.
