With Covid still being a factor in any activity we plan, we had to make reservations way in advanced to go visit the Ice Castles in Midway. They start the process in late November with sprinklers and continue to build the castles until late December. We made our reservations for early evening with Noelle and Janson as well as Grandma Pikus so we could see them in the day time as well as night when the colorful lights are glowing. They had slide racing and tunnels where the kids could play hide and seek. We bundled up and even had hot chocolate and donuts to celebrate the great outing!
