Skyler's last year of soccer wasn't necessarily ideal for him. He ended up on a team that he felt would make for a long, difficult season. He chose not to tryout for any other team hoping his team would stay together from last year. But his coach, Shad decided he needed to focus on his family and quit. He was also Jayden's coach for the last 2 years of his soccer career so we got to know him well and were sad about the news. Skyler was disappointed that half of his team either quit or went to other teams, but we discussed that this is life and it's all about attitude. So he is going to stick it out and realize that he will be getting extra practice at each game. They played in 2 soccer tournaments over the summer and actually made it to one of the semi-finals. Hyrum, Ammon and Traycen came to cheer him on at one of his games. No matter how Sky's team does, we are always happy to watch and cheer him on.
