Dad and his business partner Zack made last minute plans to go to Alaska for a fishing trip with another business friend where they would be mostly fishing the rivers. Mom usually lets dad have his fun trips, but this time she was a little worried that he wouldn’t make it back in time for our upcoming trip to Costa Rica. He flew into Kodiak Island which only allows for one flight out each day. If there was bad weather or delays, he would miss his returning flight and miss our family trip or have to catch up with us later in the trip. Luckily all went smooth and he returned early in the afternoon before we were to head back to the airport that night for a red eye flight to Costa Rica. He had a great time and was able to fish in the ocean for the last day in order to bring some Halibut and Salmon back home for us.
