The Westlake Varsity and Junior Varsity teams both had a great season this year. Skyler's team only lost twice all season. The Varsity team unfortunately lost in the first round of the playoffs even though they had a far better season than the team that beat them. Skyler had a great season and played half of each game during the season. He is hoping to make the team next year, his Senior year. It's definitely more challenging to be accepted on the team at a 6A level. There are many talented players. Skyler was grateful to be part of such a great team this year along with many of his friends. Dad, Mom and Skyler decided to watch the State Championship soccer game since Dad's business partner's son played for Weber one of the final teams. It was a great game that went into overtime where Weber won the state title! We are sad to see another season end, but look forward to one last year! Go Westlake!!
