We were happy to have 2020 behind us. There was a lot of chaos and confusion, but we also loved all the good things including extra family time that came with it. We were grateful Grandma and Grandpa let us move in with them while we tried to find a home that our family all felt good with. Dad and Mom thought about building again and even found a lot in Lehi that they liked. But when this was given as an option to the kids, Aysia and Auri were very sad and adamant that we try and stay in the area where they could attend their same schools. The market had very few choices and the prices jumped astronomically high within the past year that Dad and Mom were a little worried the market might crash after they bought a new home. So after praying to know where to go, Grandma Pikus told us to go look at her friend Linda's son's home a few blocks away. Dad and Mom were able to go take a look at first. It was a good size with great potential and in the area that we were looking. We were able to take the kids back to look at the home and they all loved it as well. They loved that it had a theater as well as a game and hang-out room. So we made an offer that was accepted and we moved forward to closing. David and Laura Anderson (the owners) needed a little more time for their home they were building to be complete so we allowed them to rent it back until their home was finished. We were excited to move in and start with the renovations. Home is definitely wherever you make it. We know we were blessed to be able to stay in the area and even get to stay in the same church house!!
